- To ensure, maintain hygiene standard, safety and quality of products as per request

- To accomplish with best effective in taking care of guest and create fresh, comfortable and warm environment in the hotel. To ensure the effectiveness of the operating plan and department management in budget spending.

- To create good relationship and cooperation with other departments in the hotel.

- To take part in the recruitment, training and managing of all department staffs’ activities in the area. To create enthusiasm, believable working environment and effective cooperation in department.

- To organize, managing, supervise the daily work of department. To check logbook and actual, check information, attend department meeting before attending hotel’s briefing.

- To attend daily briefing with General Manager and other Department Heads to inform activities of department on time.

- To organize and develop personnel of department. To check, evaluate, organize training and coaching on professional skills. To implement staffs’ rewarding as well as punishment on time and effectively.

- To set operating plan, to assign tasks of department (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly). To organize periodic, unplanned meetings and set training plan for department.

- To approve Purchase Order and sign off petty cash payment of department when necessary.

- To organize and directly take part in the customer service, meet guest when there is any complaint, problem caused by the subordinate.

- To coordinate with maintenance department in repairing, maintenance tools, furniture, equipment in guest room and public area and ensure they are in the best working condition at all time. To cooperate with other departments in the hotel to ensure the best effectiveness in general works.

- To take responsibility in interior decoration for holidays (Christmas, New year, Tet Holiday and other holidays as per hotel’s request).

- To handle uniform for all hotel employees (to work with Board of Management on designing, purchasing of material and tailoring), to check the maintenance, repairing, and daily laundering.

- To make business plan for the following year, to estimate revenue, to make estimated plan in purchasing of OE and FF&E within responsibilities and submit to Board of Management for preparation of general business plan. To implement the assigned targets, to propose procedure on controlling department expenses.

- To build up the update regulations, SOPs to ensure the maintaining of quality of hotel facilities which belongs to department management as well as hotel’s hygiene standard.

- To implement and ensure department’s staff to implement regulations and SOPs on security and safety issued by the hotel.

- To check facilities and amenities in guest room, to set up maintenance procedures of linen, carpet, decoration, plants, etc… To propose to Board of Management the estimated on description, sample, quality, quantity in case of new purchasing, etc…

- To be ready to take other tasks subject to assignment of General Manager.

- In charge of enviromental works.
