Key Objective To handle all administrative work and to ensure the smooth running operation of HR department under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager and to coordinate planning, managing, controlling, coordinating and participating in Human Resources activities. Key Duties - Receive, maintain and audit Employee Referral Bonus program and ensure timely payments for referees - Act as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR related matters - Maintain job descriptions; HR Templates - Developing and maintain Employee relaxation Area - Prepare stats, forms, employment verification letters, etc. - Assist with the updating of company policy and procedures with revisions when needed to ensure compliance with employment guidelines/laws - Assist and participate in the delivery of Employee Activities - Organize charity activity for local community - Arrange employee Activities such as Birthday event month basis, employee party, employee outing, team-building, etc. - Assist Human Resources Manager through maintaining interview notes and resumes, conducting reference checks - Special projects and other duties as assigned. Administrative Responsibilities - Schedule & organize the administration of the performance appraisal program and annual appraisal. - Maintains and updates files on employee records, policies and procedures, and all matters which cover the employees/ hotel relationships. - Prepares periodic reports for Management’s use in accordance with hotel and government requirements such as turnover reports, personnel inventories, accident reports, competitor admin./ benefits, etc. Technical Responsibilities - Prepares hotel manpower requirements in order to recommend on selection and development activities to meet those requirements. - Monitors present and future trends in the local labor situation, social legislation and make recommendations relating thereto. - Reviews personnel policies, procedures, and practices, recommends charges, modification or up-dating to Management. Monitors and reviews hotel’s benefits and compensation levels and recommend appropriate changes. - Inspects regularly employee canteen, locker rooms lockers and other employee facilities to ensure they are well operated and maintained. - Support all related Training Commercial Responsibilities - Coordinates hotel personnel as needed in areas such as career planning, training and development, employee relations and legal requirements. - Maintains effective employee relations and motivation programs in the hotel. - Monitors and Maintains programs to ensure employee security and safety. - Disseminate information affecting employer-employee relations, employee activities and hotel personnel policies and programs. - Coordinates and execute employees’ social, athletic and recreational activities. - Investigates and reviews all disciplinary actions to ensure applicable laws and regulations and procedures are followed. Consults with Department Heads on appropriate action and recommends to management for final action. Human Responsibilities - Schedules & Files each member of his/her staff at least once a year. - Concerns himself/herself with the welcoming and orientation of new employee. - Is responsible for the grooming and attire of his personnel. - Ensures a good atmosphere and efficient co-operation in the department. - Convenes meetings with his personnel at regular intervals for information purposes. Relation - Reports to Human Resources Manager - Supports the performance of the Human Resources Manager - Maintains good working relations with all Directors of other Departments. He/She maintains also relations with external contacts government official, labor, police department and lawyers office, other hotel’s Human Resources Manager to be aware of any change of salary, welfare and benefits in the market and all companies related to hotel activities. - Coordinates functions and activate with other Department Heads.
