CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities
Works collaboratively with sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, trade shows, etc.
Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management.
Managing Sales Activities
Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue
Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
Closes the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.
Gains understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution.
Providing Exceptional Customer Service
Supports the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
Services our customers in order to grow share of the account.
Executes and supports the company’s customer service standards.
Provides excellent customer service consistent with the daily service basics of the company.
Sets a positive example for guest relations.
Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

Overview
Corporate Business Development Managers are dynamic professionals who specialize in orchestrating unforgettable F&B experiences for corporate clients. From conceptualization to execution, they coordinate with Event Sales (for event referral business), other departments, and clients to ensure a seamless and extraordinary guest experience. With a focus on precision, creativity, and operational excellence, they handle events of average complexity while maximizing revenue opportunities through upselling and innovative enhancements. Acting as the primary contact for clients, Event executives ensure each event aligns with the highest standards of service, creating lasting memories for every guest.

Event Planning and Execution
Comprehensive Coordination: Prepares and manages all event documentation, ensuring smooth communication across departments.

Sales and Revenue Optimization
Upselling Expertise: Promotes additional services and enhancements to maximize revenue while enriching guest experiences.
Client Relationships: Acts as a key liaison between Operations and Clients, fostering trust and transparency.
Revenue Forecasting: Monitors event revenue streams, including to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Corporate Engagement: Develops and maintains a robust database of corporate & event accounts in Ho Chi Minh City to drive FIT store bookings.

Active Promotions: Promotes restaurant offers, private dinner packages, and group sales packages for birthdays, special occasions, and buyouts.
Organizes and oversees store activities, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional client satisfaction.
Database Development: Works with the store teams to maintain an up-to-date client database in the Saigon region.
Marketing Collaboration: Partners with Sales & Marketing to create and distribute monthly e-newsletters and promotional materials.
Post-Event Engagement: Conducts after-sales care, soliciting guest feedback to refine offerings and services.
Customer Service Excellence
Client Focus: Acts as the primary contact for clients, maintaining consistent communication and ensuring satisfaction.
Personalized Interaction: Greets clients during events and remains available to address needs, ensuring every detail is perfect.
Proactive Feedback: Collects guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implements action plans.
Guest Engagement: Hosts and organizes store guest activities, ensuring they align with guest interests and preferences.
Plan, organize, and oversee resort guest activities, including both complimentary and paid offerings.
Develop and implement promotional campaigns designed to encourage guest participation in store activities, whether complimentary or paid.
Coordinate and execute internal guest programs, collaborating with resort departments to ensure seamless delivery and memorable experiences.
Proactively encourage social media engagement and promote ranking platforms such as TripAdvisor and Google reviews.
Conduct post-activity follow-ups with guests to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction through personalized after-sales care.
Operational and Administrative Proficiency
Detail-Oriented Documentation: Prepares proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and promotional materials with accuracy and professionalism.
Event Logistics Management: Oversees event timelines, staffing requirements, and equipment needs to ensure readiness.
Vendor Coordination: Collaborates with external suppliers for event-related goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Financial Oversight: Reviews billing, manages payments, and ensures accurate financial documentation.
Creative Event Design and Innovation
Event Aesthetics: Develops creative concepts for event setups, including décor, lighting, and table arrangements, aligned with client expectations.
Trend Awareness: Stays updated on industry trends to introduce innovative elements into event planning.
Tailored Experiences: Customizes event designs to reflect client themes, brand identity, and guest preferences.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
Collaborative Approach: Works closely with Sales, Banquet, and Operations teams to ensure smooth event transitions.
Training and Development: Provides guidance and coaching to junior team members, fostering professional growth.
Recognition and Motivation: Celebrates team achievements and encourages a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate or Event Operations
Execution: Manage and oversee assigned events at Buttery or outdoor corporate venues, ensuring every detail meets client expectations and property standards.
Pre-Event Coordination: Conduct detailed briefings prior to assigned events to outline responsibilities, establish timelines, and convey special instructions to the team.
Post Sales Follow-Up: Collect client feedback after initiating the contract and maintain strong relationships to foster repeat business and satisfaction.
Billing and Payments: Supervise the billing process, ensuring accurate payments and settlements are completed.
Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments to procure equipment, decorations, and setups required for the event.
Vendor Collaboration: Partner with external vendors to secure necessary equipment, décor, and arrangements, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
Sales and Marketing
Actively participate in site inspections and assist in the sales process when required.
Promote property services, upselling catering, audiovisual, and other enhancements.
Develop and maintain promotional materials to showcase property capabilities.
Develop, together with the executive chef, outlet set menus or buffets for private events
Customer Service
Interact with clients and guests to build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Address complaints and implement solutions promptly, maintaining a professional demeanor.
Ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the event lifecycle.
Financial Management
Monitor event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with revenue goals.
Review financial documentation, including contracts, invoices, and payments, for accuracy.
Provide detailed financial summaries and forecasts to management.
Administrative Tasks
Prepare and distribute event-related documentation, including proposals and contracts.
Maintain organized records of all client communications, event details, and billing information.
