• Providing and teaching bilingual short-term training courses, EHL's VET training programs about In Room and Housekeeping Services to students of various levels and backgrounds.
• Able to impart importance of taking responsibility for the performance of floor attendants.
• Able to train in the organization and facilitation of the room making process.
• Able to train in daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
• Able to impart the responsibility for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house area of the floor.
• Eye for detailed the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs.
• Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the laid down standards for students and staff.
• Able to train on how to quickly organise schedules for the purpose of accommodating the guest needs first.
• Able to train on how to effectively manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members.
• Teach organized method for inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards.
• Able to understand all room categories and amenities quickly, and train on the same.
• Imparts responsibility of achieving positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Carry out lost and found procedures.
• Report maintenance issues to Maintenance/Engineering Department.
• Assist Housekeeping Manager with training requirements.
• Represent the needs of the team to others in the hotel.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
• Able to understand employee’s positions well enough and to perform duties in students or employees' absence.
• Leading by example in customer service excellence, beyond Rooms and training duties.

• 4-5 years of House Keeping experience in a 5-star hotel (or higher)
• Knowledge of current and updated Rooms & Housekeeping trends.
• Professional Diploma of recognized school in Housekeeping or Rooms division
• Competent in written and spoken English
