Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager (GM) with a proven track record in managing a high-performing hotel, bar, and restaurant operation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences. As the GM, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, driving revenue growth, ensuring impeccable service standards, managing staff, and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations of the hotel, bar, and restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and quality are maintained.

Develop and implement operational procedures that ensure smooth and efficient functioning across all departments.

Monitor and maintain operational costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Team Leadership and Staff Management:

Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of hotel, bar, and restaurant staff, ensuring they meet performance standards.

Recruit, train, and develop staff to foster a high-performance culture.

Conduct regular performance appraisals and offer constructive feedback and coaching.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to retain top talent and maintain high employee morale.

Guest Experience and Customer Service:

Ensure exceptional guest experiences through excellent service standards, quality food and beverage offerings, and personalized attention.

Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly, maintaining a high level of satisfaction.

Monitor and analyze guest feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve services.

Implement loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance guest retention.

Financial Management:

Manage budgets, forecast revenue, and track expenses for all hotel, bar, and restaurant operations.

Maximize revenue through strategic pricing, upselling, and promotional activities.

Conduct regular financial reviews and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Ensure effective inventory management and cost control in all departments.

Sales and Marketing:

Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and attract new customers.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional campaigns, events, and seasonal offers.

Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses to increase bookings and business opportunities.

Utilize digital marketing strategies and online presence to promote the hotel, bar, and restaurant.

Strategic Planning and Development:

Lead the long-term strategic planning for the hotel, bar, and restaurant, aligning goals with business growth objectives.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to ensure a competitive edge.

Identify opportunities for innovation, new services, and product offerings to enhance guest experiences.

Regularly review and update service offerings and operational efficiencies to stay ahead of market demands.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national regulations, including licensing, health, safety, and labor laws.

Manage risk, implement safety procedures, and oversee regular audits and inspections.

Oversee insurance, legal, and financial requirements to mitigate business risks.

Reporting and Communication:

Provide regular reports to ownership or senior management regarding operational performance, financial outcomes, and guest satisfaction metrics.

Maintain open and effective communication with all departments and senior management.

Represent the hotel, bar, and restaurant in public events, meetings, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in hotel, bar, and restaurant management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.

Educational Background: Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage large-scale operations, and drive performance excellence.

Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control measures.

Guest Service Focus: A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and an ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using management software, POS systems, and other business tools.
