Responsible to negotiate with the suppliers best possible prices for goods to help keep the hotels expenditure to a minimum.
To obtain 3 quotations at all times for cash purchases.
To follow up with all department orders with suppliers and update accordingly.
Fully in charge of the day to day purchases for all departments in the hotel

What we need from you
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Good writing skills
Qualifications: Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration or related field.
1 year experience in an accounting clerical, purchasing, front office, or reservations position or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Key Internal Relationships – Hotel Employees
Key External Relationships – Interacts with guests and individuals outside the hotel including, but not limited to, current and potential clients, owning company representatives, suppliers, competitors and other members of the local community.
