• Maintain basic knowledge of wine varieties, characteristics, and simple food pairings.
• Assist guests with menu selections, making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Collaborate with other FOH staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Upsell products and services to guests with guidance, when necessary.
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor, adapting to new situations and challenges.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and delegating as necessary.
• Ensure a keen attention to detail in all aspects of the guest experience.
• Perform Host functions when required, including greeting guests, managing reservations, and seating arrangements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table settings, glassware, and silverware.
• Assist in setting up the dining area for service, including folding napkins, polishing glassware, and ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for use.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of food orders.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and work to resolve any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all applicable food safety and alcohol service regulations.

Yêu cầu công việc
• 1+ years of experience in fine dining or upscale casual dining.
• Basic understanding of wine varieties, characteristics, and simple food pairings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in one or more foreign languages.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work in a team environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to new situations and challenges.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Experience performing Host functions, such as managing reservations and seating arrangements, is a plus.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
