The Assistant Spa Manager will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the luxurious spa at InterContinental Ha Long Bay Resort. This role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of guest service, ensuring the effective management of spa operations, and fostering a team-oriented and collaborative environment. The Assistant Spa Manager will report to the Spa Manager and will be responsible for supporting the team, managing the spa’s operations, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Spa Operations Management:
- Assist in the management of the spa’s daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of services and facilities.
- Supervise spa treatments and ensure that all services are delivered according to InterContinental’s high standards of quality.
- Monitor and maintain spa equipment, supplies, and inventory, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
- Ensure that the spa is fully compliant with all local health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Guest Relations:
- Ensure a personalized, high-end spa experience for every guest by anticipating their needs and delivering outstanding service.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Provide guests with information on spa services, treatments, packages, and promotions.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise, motivate, and guide spa staff, ensuring they perform to the highest standard.
- Assist in training and developing spa staff, providing support for skill improvement and personal development.
- Ensure the team adheres to spa policies and procedures, creating a positive and professional environment.
Financial Management:
- Assist in managing the spa’s budget, ensuring cost control while maintaining high-quality service.
- Help drive revenue through upselling services, products, and packages, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Support the management of spa bookings and reservations, ensuring efficient scheduling and maximization of revenue.
Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotions and campaigns that enhance spa awareness and drive sales.
- Help create and maintain attractive spa packages to engage both hotel guests and local clientele.
- Assist in planning and executing special events or seasonal promotions to enhance guest experience and attract new customers.
Administrative Support:
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed, including maintaining accurate guest records, processing payments, and managing bookings.
- Monitor and ensure that the spa’s service standards and performance metrics are met.
- Handle correspondence, reports, and other documentation as required by the Spa Manager.

Yêu cầu công việc
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing a team and fostering a positive work environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, wellness services, and the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency with spa management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving and guest service.
- Relevant certifications in spa therapies or wellness programs are an advantage.
Yêu cầu hồ sơ
- A Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Spa Management, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a Diploma or Certification in Spa Management, Wellness, or a related field may be considered if accompanied by relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Additional certifications or training in health and wellness, spa therapy, or luxury hospitality are advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bellman or supervisory role within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in a spa or wellness management role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
