Based in Hanoi, Vietnam we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Front Office Manager in the pre-opening team.

Job Responsibilities:

The Front Office Manager (FOM) ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of the Front Desk. He/she ensures the property is in accordance with the policies, standards and guidelines established by the Management.

He/she ensures Profit & Lost (P&L) is met and rectify areas of shortfall by initiating new ideas for improvement. His/her duties include enhancing guest experience and foster strong relationships with all residents.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversees daily front desk activities, including guest check-in, check-out and handling correspondences

• Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, IT, Engineering, etc.) to ensure day-to-day efficient operations

• Manage reservations, room inventory and guest profiles

• Develop and implement staff schedules and performance standards

• Monitor financial performance and budgets

• Assist to maximise revenue and occupancy

• Manage cash handling and storage of valuables/luggage in according to PPHG’s guidelines

• Ensure guest satisfaction score set by management are met

• Conduct monthly section meeting with perspective section leaders, evaluate past month performance and areas of improvement

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management

Other Responsibilities

Supports the Mission, Purpose and Values of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group.

• Complies with all relevant Workplace Safety & Health practices and maintains a safe workplace for all associates.

• Adheres to grooming and hygiene standards set by the Hotel.

• Exercises responsible behaviour at all times to uphold the image and reputation of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Hotel and department.

• Ensures that the Hotel’s properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition. Reports any loss or damage to the Hotel’s properties and facilities promptly and appropriately.

• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity

• Strong supervisory & leadership skills

• High customer service focus and attention to detail

• Displays flexibility, adaptability and high energy levels

• Excellent interpersonal and human relations abilities

• Able to lead, train and develop associates
