Job Responsibilities

Revenue Management is responsible to manage optimal yield and pricing tactics at the hotel level through proper management of inventories and public space. He / she shall develop and implements actions and tactics to achieve the revenue goals as stated in the business plan through analytical and technical knowledge of various hotel systems. The incumbent will also be responsible for the reservations team for PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Hanoi.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review daily inventory and rate control through the use of reports completed in this role including booking pace, regrets, sales thresholds, market segmentation, market success, variance and build-ups, availability calendar, call performances and adjust future strategies as required.
  • Co-ordinate effective rate and inventory controls, forecasting and market mix management and other operations responsibilities with the effective use of revenue management.
  • Partnerships with OTA and other travel booking channels to increase booking and revenue.
  • Review sales booking daily and make changes to sales guidelines for minimum 12 months into future.
  • Attend various operational meetings on a periodic basis and provide relevant recommendation to achieve maximum yield for the hotel.
  • Lead Revenue Management meeting periodically and provide reports according to hotel and PPHG requirement.
  • Control the booking pace and cut-off date enforcement for groups.
  • Directing & supervising the activities of the reservations team and prepare statistical data required concerning room revenue and booking.
  • Give guests complete & immediate attention to their requests and complaint, taking immediate remedial action to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Provides direct leadership to reservations team via constant feedback, reviews and performance assessments.

Other Responsibilities

  • Supports the Mission, Purpose and Values of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
  • Complies with all relevant Workplace Safety & Health practices and maintains a safe workplace for all associates.
  • Adheres to grooming and hygiene standards set by the Hotel.
  • Exercises responsible behaviour at all times to uphold the image and reputation of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Hotel and department.
  • Ensures that the Hotel’s properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition. Reports any loss or damage to the Hotel’s properties and facilities promptly and appropriately.
  • Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Minimum with 3 years of experience in similar capacity
  • Strong experience in hospitality forecasting, pricing and inventory control
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with Opera Cloud
