Job Purpose

To carry out all works assigned in accordance with the departmental standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• To inspect, clean, operate all system: electrical system, air-conditioning system, plumping system, mechanical equipment…

• To maintain and repair all electrical appliances, kitchen equipment.

• To replace electrical light bulbs and fluorescent tubes according to schedule or if required.

• To inspect, clean, maintain, and repair all electrical lighting fixtures, neon signs and emergency lighting.

• To maintain emergency power supply and uninterruptible power supply systems.

• To check, maintain electrical motors and control panels.

• To inspect, clean, maintain sewage treatment system, swimming pool water treatment system.

• Repair door, lock, furniture, do painting work.

• Carry out at least once in his shift for checking all plant room.

• To check daily temperatures of all refrigerated stores and inspect the respective condensing units for proper function.

• To carry out preventive maintenance tasks on all equipments.

• To be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.

• To maintain cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.

• To ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform, particularly when working in guest areas.

• Supervise contractor for work quality in accordance with departmental standards.

• Ensure firefighting system, fire alarm system are operational.

• Discharge hazardous waste in right designed place.

OTHER DUTIES

• Perform duties outside the scope of the position in case of emergency, when called upon.

• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

• Responsible for complying with relevant OH&S, EEO, Rehabilitation and Environmental legislation & policies.

• Taking care of themselves and others.

• Co-operating with ACCOR instructions including local rules, procedures & training.

• Not interfering with or misusing safety equipment.

• Reporting all hazardous situations to management.

• Design, implement progress and schedule control systems for the project according to set requirements.

• Ensure all works carried out meet company's quality standards and requirements.

• Co-ordinate with clients, sub-contractors and consultants on all project matters.

• Experience in similar size/style of hotel 4*, 5* resort/business
