Group Financial Controller

1. Position Overview

The Group Financial Controller is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of An Lam Hospitality and PHD Consulting, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and optimizing financial performance. This position requires a highly analytical and strategic professional with a strong background in financial management within the hospitality sector.

2. Key Responsibilities

Financial Governance & Compliance

Implement and ensure compliance with the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI) and other relevant financial regulations.

Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting to senior management and ownership.

Ensure adherence to internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

Performance Optimization & Operational Support

Conduct financial audits and risk assessments across all operating properties.

Provide strategic recommendations to enhance profitability, leveraging operational efficiencies and HR best practices.

Assess and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), optimizing financial workflows and Back-of-House (BO) accounting systems.

Oversee cost control and revenue management initiatives to improve financial performance.

Accounting & Payroll Management

Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, tax compliance, and financial statements.

Supervise the issuance of company invoices and tax invoices for An Lam Hospitality (ALHO) and PHD Consulting.

Oversee the payroll process, ensuring compliance with labor laws and corporate policies.

• Entitlement to insurance as per labor law.
• In addition to basic salary, entitlement to the monthly service charge.
• 11 public holidays and 12 annual days per year.

At least 5-10 years of controlling experience management or supervisory experienced in accounting& finance role.

Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Chief Accountant, or Senior Accountant in an internationally managed hotel or hospitality group.

Strong career trajectory with prior experience in Income Auditing and Cost Control.

In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal audit procedures, and cost control measures in the hospitality industry.

Exceptional leadership, analytical, and strategic problem-solving skills.
