Landscape Supervisor

- Supervise and manage daily landscape operations, including mowing, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and irrigation systems.

- Ensure that outdoor areas like gardens, lawns, patios, and walkways are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.

- Oversee and direct the landscape team, including gardeners, laborers, and contractors.

- Provide training and guidance to team members on landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and hotel standards.

-Assist with the design and planning of new landscaping projects to enhance the hotel’s exterior appeal.

- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., design, engineering) to ensure proper integration of landscape features with overall hotel aesthetics.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all landscaping work meets the hotel’s standards.

- Ensure the use of proper horticultural techniques and sustainable practices to maintain high-quality green spaces.

- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.

- Ensure all landscaping equipment is maintained and operational, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and other tools.

- Ensure that landscaping practices comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Monitor chemical use for pest control or fertilization, ensuring safe application.

- Assist in managing the landscaping department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective purchases for plants, tools, and supplies.

- Keep track of landscaping inventory and ensure proper stock levels of materials and equipment.

- Maintain communication with guests regarding any landscaping-related issues or requests.

- Respond to guest feedback or concerns related to the landscape in a timely manner.

Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in landscape maintenance or management, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, plant care, and landscape design.

Leadership skills to supervise and motivate the team.

Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and outdoor maintenance tools.

Budgeting and inventory management experience.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and guests.
