QUALITY ASSURANCE:
• Develop and maintain departmental standard operation procedures (SOP)
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise the operations of the resort’s payroll. Ensure that all aspects of compensation and benefits are processed correctly and on time.
• Oversee employment policies in union and nonunion settings. They draw up, negotiate, and administer labor contracts that cover issues such as grievances, wages, benefits, and union and management practices.
• Handle labor complaints between employees and management, and coordinate grievance procedures.
• Oversee the recruiting and hiring responsibilities of the human resources department. Supervise a team of recruiters, and some take on recruiting duties when trying to fill high-level positions. Develop a recruiting strategy that helps them meet the staffing needs of their organization and compete effectively for the best employees.
• Serve as a link between a resort leadership team and colleagues.
• Develop creative ways to inspire and motivate team members to provide guests with a unique experience.
• Build great relations with outside contacts.
• Develop and improve colleagues' performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues
PROFIT & LOSS:
• Prepare monthly outlook/forecast reports.
• Help create the department’s annual budget and the setting of departmental goals. Monitor budget and control labor costs and expenses.
• Prepare and manage a cost-effective budget with measurable targets for the Department within the financial parameters set down by the resort budget. Develop systems that measure the cost-effectiveness of the department
TALENT & CULTURE:
• Works with Human Resources on manpower planning and management needs
• Ensure all colleagues are well groomed and dressed in accordance with the resort regulations.
• Ensure the compensation and benefits of staff are delivered accurately.
• Implement and maintain training systems to ensure that colleagues have the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively.
• Prepare work schedules and annual leave schedules within budget, business expectations and guidelines of the appropriate industrial legislation.
• Manage staff training and development. Educate and train all team members in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.
• Create a sense of equality, fairness to colleagues.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Environmental care by re-using, recycling or selling waste; conserves water and energy at all available opportunities and maintain clean surroundings of all resort areas.
• Understand and adhere to relevant workplace health and safety standards, the resort’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
• Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any resort activity related to Fire Life safety.
• Safeguard all information relating to the resort, guests.
• Comply strictly to the resort codes of conduct, resort regulations.
• Serve as manager on duty (MOD) on request.
• May assist with other duties as assigned by management

Yêu cầu công việc
• Bachelor Hospitality Management/ Law/ Human Resources or equivalent education
• 3-4 years in resort of similar size
•Min 2 years in Assistant Human Resources Manager position
• Strong supervisory & leadership skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Well-developed business acumen
• High level of integrity
• Able to delegate
• Strong project management skills
• Displays a confident and professional manner
• Exhibits high level of attention to detail
• Displays flexibility and high energy levels
• Deals efficiently and confidently with complaints and queries from owners, department heads and external parties
• Demonstrates strong personal organization and time management skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Meets resort grooming standards
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills
• Extensive knowledge of the resort
