MarCom Executive (base HCM)

1) To create database that configures servers and sets communication parameters which ensure timely delivery of resort information and ensure network security so that publications are served only to the intended audience.

2) To assist in implementation of the Sales & Marketing philosophy in accordance with the resort’s Marketing Plan and Budget.

3) To report to Director of Sales & Marketing progress of marketing efforts, results of marketing programs, customer feedback, and information relative to Marketing personnel and general development in the resort.

4) Performs professional work in handling and distributing <Insert hotel name here> promotional campaign in Trade, Tourism and Hotel World Wide Web sites and intranet applications.

5) Liaison between resort and Int’l Media Channels via E-Marketing.

6) Identifies positive public relations and teamwork opportunities.

7) Analyze and understands details concerning e-consumer, e-trade and media publications. Be aware of changing trends and have plans and action in place to react and/or counteract these changes.

8) Promotes the hotel web site to appropriate internal and external audiences.

9) Work with Sales Team in the hotel and other qualified personnel within other departments to continuously improve salesmanship and/or creativity.

10) To maintain an effective communications line within the Department and with other department and management.

11) To be familiarized of <Insert hotel name here> with emphasis on product, services and facilities and its Key Management.

12) Performs Guest Relations task and assist Front Desk Staff in dealing European guests whenever necessary.

13) To perform other duties as assigned by Director of Sales & Marketing.

14) Maintain a complete understanding of the Employee Handbook and adhere to regulations contained therein.

15) Maintain a complete understanding of the Hotel’s policy relating to fire, safety and health, and ensure all precautions are taken to safeguard against incidents.

• Graduate of a Marketing and Communications degree or other related course desired.

• Minimum of 1-year experience in the same position or strong track record in Marketing and Business Development, Website Design and Online Marketing, and Public Relations.

• Hotel experience desired.
