The Facility Officer is responsible for assisting in the overall management and upkeep of the casino’s physical infrastructure. This role involves conducting routine inspections, overseeing facility-related administrative tasks, coordinating repair and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Perform regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Support the Maintenance & Facility Manager in managing facility operations and addressing any issues that arise.
- Oversee minor repairs and maintenance tasks, and assist in coordinating major repair work with external contractors.
- Ensure all areas of the facility comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Assist in coordinating with external contractors for major repair and maintenance work.
- Assist in the implementation of emergency response protocols for facility management.
- Help manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in facility management or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related role.
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to facility management.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
