Mô tả công việc

To supervise all Front Desk Clerk, and to ensure that the Front Desk is running smoothly and staff provide immediate and courteous service to all guests.

Primary Responsibilities

- To review and prepare all daily arrivals, allocating best available rooms according to VIP status, room rate charged, and guests requests.

- To double check the accuracy of all work performed by Front Desk Clerk at end of shift.

- To ensure that all Front Desk Clerk have complete understanding of their job, and adhere to all established policies and work procedures.

- To provide training to all Front Office Assistants so that they can perform their job with maximum efficiency and courtesy.

- To organize, schedule, and delegate duties to all Front Desk Clerks.

- To assist in the registering and checking out of guests.

- To work closely with Reservation Section, in coordinating and follow up on vouchers, billing instructions, blocking of rooms, collecting deposits, prepayments, and VIPs arrivals.

- To work closely with Credit Manager to ensure that hotel’s credit policies and procedures and adhered to.

- To ensure that all guestroom’s Ving Card’s keys and folders for tours/groups are prepared before the arrival of tours/groups.

- To assist the Assistants Manager on duty to handle guest complaints, and ensure actions are taken promptly to rectify complaints.

- To authorize and approve room change and billing disputes by guests.

- To work closely with Concierge on tours/groups check in and check out.

- To maintain effective communication within Front Desk and other sections of the Front Desk by having daily briefing and regular meetings.

- To conduct daily inventory of safe deposit box keys and any discrepancy to report to Assistant Front Office Manager for action accordingly.

- To perform shifts duties according to the duty roster.

- Although you are employ by Front Office Department, you may be assigned to any area that the management deems suitable and necessary.

• Good communication and customer contact skills

• Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times

Yêu cầu hồ sơ

• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity

• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language

• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
