Spa Manager

JOB PURPOSE

Under the general guidance of the General Manager and in accordance with Anmira Resort &Spa, and Policies & Procedures, will ensure our customers are consistently treated to an impeccable customer service experience, and that the operations run smoothly, efficiently and profitably.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee all Spa operations including guest services, treatment services, marketing, training, vendor relations and guest and employee satisfaction.

- Manage the daily activities and monitor the performance of the Spa staff. Supervision duties include hiring, scheduling, coaching and counseling and training.

- Partners with the Director of Sales and Marketing to promote spa growth and profitability. Responsible for the achievement of financial and departmental goals.

- Manage the Spa budget and monitor expenditures. Provide accurate budget forecasts to General Manager and Deputy General Director.

- Evaluate potential business and programs to increase spa’s financial performance.

- Maintain inventory of spa services, products and equipment. Request equipment repairs as required.

- Maintain familiarity with industry trends and new services. Research, recommend and arrange new service training for all treatment specialists.

- Handle and resolve guest issues and complaints according to Guest Service Recovery guidelines

- To carry out any other reasonable duty to assist in the smooth running of the Resort.

- Understanding of Hotel Property Management System

- Computer Literate.

- Able to work on flexible shifts including, weekends and holidays on rotation basis.

- Able to work on overtime when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree Holder in any field or equivalent professional training.

EXPERIENCES

- 3-5 years’ work experience in a 4-5 star Hotel as Spa Manager.

OTHERS

- Good command of both written and spoken English.

-  Good command of Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese or Korean Language is an advantage.
