• Observe activities in the swimming pools and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency.
• Promote the rules and regulations of the swimming pools intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
• Assist all guests with complaints, take immediate action, and report where needed.
• Be aware of possible situations where guests are unable to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager.
• Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
• Clean and maintain swimming pool equipment and supplies.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities.
• Assist guests with sitting area, sun lounge bed, or cabana.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Maintain positive working relationships with others by supporting the team to reach common goals.
• Venture and develop new ideas to enhance guest satisfaction and explore new sports activities that can improve current offerings.
• Report any problems that have occurred.
• Operate the swimming pool daily in a professional, safe, and enjoyable manner to the satisfaction of guests and the Recreation Manager.
• In addition to regularly cleaning the area, sell refreshments to guests and provide safety information to everyone.
• Attend briefing to obtain information for the shift.
• Perform various duties at swimming pools or beach areas under the guidance of the Recreation Manager/Supervisor, focusing on the resort operation, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assist with the processing of payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales (if applicable).
• Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop, move, lift, or carry objects, stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Be in good physical health to work under conditions such as spending hours on feet or underwater.
• Be a valued member of the team, flexible, and ready to switch responsibilities at a moment’s notice.
