JOB SUMMARY
Assist the Restaurant Manager in smooth running of the Restaurant through achieving budgeted revenue, TripAdvisor and other results/ KPIs. Support manager in controlling and developing staff, rostering, preparation of checks, stock control and internal communication. Manage staff grooming and cleanliness of the restaurant. Support Restaurant Manager in training activities for staffs to maintain high service standard and maximize guest satisfaction
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained
Assume full responsibility for the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
JOB SPECIFIC TASKS
Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related local policies
Ensure the associates understand the correct procedures for handling intoxicated and underage guests
Be well versed and knowledgeable of Restaurant Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure staffs are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity
Responsible for Food & Beverage Attendants, to set up restaurant (incl. Linen, silver, etc.) according to the Restaurant Manager requirements and Viet Deli standards.
To see that Food & Beverage Attendants perform their tasks in preparation work, and ensure all equipment is available for staff to carry out their tasks efficiently
Control equipment and ensure it is put away at the end of each shift
To coordinate with Food & Beverage Attendants in an efficient manner, whilst maintaining quality standards
Assign stations to Food & Beverage Attendants taking into consideration the proper balance of skills of the staffs (i.e. a long service staff with a new staff).
To co-ordinate staff meal breaks. To ensure that they are taken on time, and in a timely manner
To conduct a pre-service briefing, to update guest’s satisfaction scores every day, review and update group information and all guests’ requirements.
Prepare working schedules and ensure annual leave is within budget, business expectations and Labor Law guidelines
In conjunction with Human Resources and the Restaurant Manager, to assist with effective recruitment, training and development, performance evaluation, turnover reduction and optimization of productivity through efficient work practices and staff rostering.
Analyze and respond to guest feedback, guest satisfaction and associate satisfaction information; and give a positive commitment to continuous improvement of product and performance.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Restaurant or Hotel Management or equivalent are advantage
Proven food and beverage management experience
Guest-oriented and service-minded
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekend
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)

- Tốt nghiệp các trường Trung cấp/Cao đẳng chuyên ngành Kế toán/Tài chính, Nhà hàng, Khách sạn.
- Thành thạo Tin học văn phòng, các phần mềm Kế toán
- Nhanh nhẹn, cẩn thận, trung thực, chủ động trong công việc
- Ưu tiên các bạn đã có kinh nghiệm làm việc tại Nhà hàng/Khách sạn
