 Complies and encourage to comply others on the Pool Safe Operating Procedures at all times.

 Maintains a vigilant watch of the swimming pool areas in accordance with the operating procedures and takes necessary action to ensure the safety of all pool users and staff.

 Patrols all areas of the facility and ensures that all areas are being used in the correct manner.

 Checks the safety of equipment in areas of responsibility and reports any damage or malfunction of equipment, plants or building fabric to Manager immediately after discover

 Ensures that lost property is handled and recorded in line with procedures.

 Ensures that a consistently high level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the facilities at all times.

 Always challenges to improve procedures for the benefit of the guest

 Maintains the chemical factor of pool water, which includes: pH, total alkalinity and acidity.

 Maintains physical factor of pool water, which includes: filtration, circulation and vacuuming of swimming pool.

 To ensure that all Pool equipment is stored safely and securely when not in use.

 To report any maintenance issues using the appropriate procedures.

 Supervises the security and safety of the public ensuring their enjoyment in all areas of the facility and carry out rescues as required.

 Assists Fitness Centre & Spa Manager in the preparation and activities of Pool in a professional manner to ensure a high quality of service is provided to pool use and visitors.

 Ensures the opening and closing of the facilities when required especially weather changes and makes sure in monitoring the security of the premises at all times.

 Assists with the supervision and control of children’s activities including parties, play schemes and courses.

 Attends regular Lifeguard training sessions to ensure ongoing personal development and compliance of the requirements of the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

 Attends and undertakes any suggested training requirements such as relevant training by Red Cross Society.

 Performs routine checks of customers’ receipts to ensure proof of payment for entry to the swimming pool.

 Complies with the Emergency Action Plan for the facilities and assist with any such incidents in the appropriate manner

 To greet guests on arrival at all times in a warm, welcoming & friendly manner being helpful at all times

 Recognizes regular guests and anticipates their needs and requirements

 Assists guests or visitors in offering and providing accurate information in a courteous manner.

 Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures

 Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly

 Logs incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements

 Performs other duties assigned by the Supervisor/ Manager

Extremely high spirit of Customer Service.
