Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, including room attendants, laundry staff, and other housekeeping personnel

Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and procedures to meet occupancy demands

Inspect completed guestrooms and public areas to ensure consistent quality and adherence to resort standards

Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies

Identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies to enhance housekeeping operations

Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the housekeeping team

Communicate with other resort departments, such as front desk and engineering, to address any housekeeping-related issues or concerns

Assist with hiring, scheduling, and performance management of the housekeeping staff

Investigate and resolve any guest complaints or housekeeping-related problems

Ensure all housekeeping employees adhere to safety, sanitation, and security protocols

Maintain detailed records and documentation of housekeeping activities and expenditures

Collaborate with management to develop and implement housekeeping budgets and cost-saving initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping

High school diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework preferred

1-3 years of progressive experience in a housekeeping or hotel operations role, with at least 1 years in a supervisory capacity

Thorough understanding of hotel/resort housekeeping operations, policies, and best practices

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in using hotel property management and inventory control systems

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs

Proven track record of effectively managing and motivating a team

Commitment to providing exceptional guest service and creating a positive work environment

Knowledge of relevant safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations
