- Proactively managing daily sales and marketing activities
- Ensuring revenue, sales and marketing strategies are set, tactical plans are created and implemented, and results are monitored and achieved to maximise profitability
- Developing and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increased average rates, increased volume, food and beverage and conference & events sales
- Analysing current and potential market and sales trends, coordinating activities to increase revenue and market share and monitoring performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan
- Driving the development, implementation and optimisation of the Hotel marketing efforts
- Participating in the development of the annual commercial budget, alongside the General Manager
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with potential clients, corporate partners, event planners, and local businesses
- Forming strategic external alliances and partners to support the Hotel’s positioning and actively promoting the Hotel and brand through community and professional involvement
- Leading, developing and coaching your team to deliver to their full potential, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Yêu cầu công việc
- Previous experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing in a lifestyle or premium brand hotel, of a similar size and operation
- Ability to work proactively and take accountability for workload and key deliverables
- Demonstrated experience creating and achieving sales goals and revenue generation targets
- Proven knowledge and application of marketing concepts
- Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends
- A passion for and proactive approach to building and cultivating relationships
- The ability to build, motivate and lead an effective team that delivers results and is highly engaged
- Proficiency in using systems and computer applications
- Strong time management skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have the full and unrestricted right to work in Australia
