Demi Pastry Chef de Partie ( Baker)

• Directly make bakery/cakes according to the restaurant's menu, at the request of diners and the chef,
• Have full knowledge of all pastry menu items, syllabus, daily features and promotions as it applies to your operation.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to the recipes and standards specified by the Executive Pastry Chef, this includes quality checks and tasting all food prior to it being served.
• Handle requests by other departments concerning the Kitchen department and process cake orders.
• Plan, prepare and implement high quality pastry/bakery products, and set-ups in all areas and in the restaurants.
• Recommend new cakes to change and improve the restaurant's cake menu, increasing guest satisfaction.
• Monitor, check and preserve tools, freezers, refrigerators, ovens, stoves... tools used daily in the pastry kitchen area

• Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Pastry/Bakery major or related major.
• At least total 3 years working experience in a 5-star category hotel or individual restaurant with high standards.
• Minimum of 1 year as Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent position in an international brand hotel.
• Proficient in pastry, bread baking, and certain chocolate making techniques.
• Work well in stressful situations, remain calm under pressure and able to solve problems.
• Knowledgeable in HACCP.
• Quite good command in verbal and written English to meet business needs, preferred.
