• Drink Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a variety of drinks according to established recipes, including cocktails, wines, beers, and coffees. Use fresh garnishes prepared daily, follow standardized garnish preparation and call procedures for ordering drinks, and ensure every drink is recorded before serving.
  
• Operational Readiness and Maintenance: Perform opening duties, check par lists for shortages, ensure the cleanliness and good condition of the bar area and furniture, and prepare the bar with necessary supplies like ice, glassware, and napkins. Set up and maintain proper stock levels for juices, mixers, alcohol, and other bar essentials.
• Order Processing and Payment Handling: Efficiently take and process drink orders using abbreviations to speed up service, handle various forms of payment including room charges and credit cards, and manage problem payments and tips reporting.
• Guest Interaction: Give attention to guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Bar Cleaning and Logging: Clean bar ice machines, sinks, tops, and floors regularly, and maintain logs in the bar log book to track daily activities and issues.
• Special Services: Manage additional services such as opening and serving bottles of wine and champagne, providing cigarette service, and clearing the bar top.
