  • Create unforgettable welcome experiences and thoughtful farewells for our guests, by tailoring guest interactions according to individual guests’ needs.
  • You built guest engagement by being compassionate and showing honest interest, while maintaining a professional level of discreteness. Carefully listen to guests, which gives you valuable information that you can use to improve the overall guest satisfaction.
  • You always acknowledge guests and remember important information as guest names, preferred seating and favourite aperitifs. Look for chances to positively surprise guests at the right moments, through small or large gestures and acts of kindness.
  • Consistently guide guests in an elegant and humble way, with little noise and no excessive talking, creating a natural sense of calmness. Your body language is confident and positive, making the guest feel comfortable.
  • You want guests to feel comfortable and make sure that they are satisfied with their seating area, while managing the restaurant capacity, waiting time and reservations.
  • You have the ability to use suggestive selling as a way to complement services inside the resort, resulting in higher average spending and increased revenue.
  • Know how to make optimal use of the restaurant’s table layout and manage table turnovers in order to optimize the overall revenue.
  • You have the knowledge to operate the Point of Sale system and assist the team in handling payments and recording orders through the POS.
  • You always try to make the service flow as seamless as possible, by using the available resources and systems.
  • You are responsible for managing the reservation channels and ensures that bookings are confirmed according to the standards, resulting in a positive first impression.
  • Take charge of managing the guest profiles in the restaurant management system and update important guest information, such as: dining preferences, dietary restrictions and preferred seating.
  • You follow up with colleagues to make sure that special requests and festive occasions are adhered.
  • Actively communicate with other departments in order to update guest preferences, reservations and other important information, by using all tools the resort has to offer.
  • - Communicate with colleagues and be pro-active in supporting them in the Regent Phu Quoc bars, but also in other food and beverage outlets if requested by the management.
  • Always live up to the standards set by the Regent brand, by assuring you know the standard operating procedures and making sure that they are respected.
  • You know the Forbes Travel Guide Standards that are applicable for restaurants & bars and you ensure that you implement them within the service processes.
  • You pay attention to small details, which visually expresses in a spotlessly clean workspace, outstanding services and a well-groomed appearance.
  • You possess the knowledge and are empowered to solve problems on the spot, but you also know when to ask for assistance from colleagues. Always follow up on guest issues and report occurred concerns to the management.
