1. OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The position is the Cluster Senior Sales Manager based in HCMC/HANOI, responsible for the management of sales activities in line with the annual sales and marketing plan and to achieve/exceed budget in executing the sales strategy of each hotel. She/he will assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives and achieves personal sales goals
2. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Achieve daily targeted number of sales calls with effectiveness
• Develop business leads for the Hotel on a weekly basis
• Prepare monthly list of accounts to penetrate for the following month
• Plan active site inspections/entertainment meetings weekly basis to qualified potential accounts or new accounts
• Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
• Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
• Prepare monthly action plan for main market segment
• Perform monthly review account profile on room nights production and average rate
• Monitor competitors’ rate strategy, account penetration and marketing activities to maintain a competitive edge
• Fully responsible of accounts under his/her management , including contracting, updating profile and renewing contracts
• Update management on VIP arrivals, meet and greet accordingly
• Up-sell, cross-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue
• Conduct negotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for the Hotel
• Attend hotel clients and local community business events to network and maintain high visibility
• Understands the overall market of each hotel - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
• Gains understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution.
• Supports the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
• Services our customers in order to grow share of the account.
• Executes and supports MHI customer service standards.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Update Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing on market trends and business leads

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: University degree preferable or equivalent experience
LANGUAGES:
Native Vietnamese
Good written and spoken English
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required Strong negotiation
WORK EXPERIENCE IN OTHER COMPANIES (IN CASE OF EXTERNAL SELECTION): Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position with proven track records
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (These responsibilities are mandatory to all positions)
1. To attend all meetings, briefings & internal or external training sessions as required by the direct supervisor.
2. To act wholeheartedly in the interests of the Company at all times & not to perform, arrange or carry out any work or activity which could be considered to be in competition with or affect in any way the company interests or be detrimental or damaging to its public image.
