Summary

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources department and oversee our full-cycle recruiting, multi restaurant group

Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires.

Ultimately, you will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities

Objectives of this Role

  1. Input into overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals
  2. Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind
  3. Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives
  4. Create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure a positive experience
  5. Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectation
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with HR managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments
  2. Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff
  3. Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
  4. Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  5. Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates
  6. Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews – if possible
  7. Assess candidates’ information, including C.Vs., portfolios and references
  8. Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
  9. Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders

Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role

Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks 

Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods

Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations

BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field
