- Must be aware of the best ways of making the different dishes
- Should know how to decorate and garnish the meals.
- Should estimate the amount of ingredients that should be used, the cost of procuring such requirements and the net cost of production
- Instruct other cooks regarding the best ways of cooking the meal
- May talk with the different department of the restaurants and fix the price chart.
- Supervise the activities of different cooks and other cooking staffs

Yêu cầu công việc
- Must have good culinary sense
- Should have a strong perception of sense of smell and taste
- Should be willing to work with a team
- Should be skilled in garnishing.
- Should be quick in his actions as he must prepare delicious meals instantly
- Should have an idea of the different preferences of the customers and prepare meals that can cater to a wide category.
