Pit Manager, Table Games

Reporting to Operations Manager, Table games and will be responsible for managing assigned area on the gaming floor. Manage and organize supervisor and dealers assigned on the same area allocated and ensuring the compliance with all gaming and company regulations and procedures. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Duties may include but not limited to:

Ensure that Pit Supervisor, Dealer Inspector and Dealers comply with the rules and regulations, directives of the internal control and standard operating procedures.

Responsible to communicate to Supervisors, Dealer Inspectors, Dealers of changes or amendments in Company Policies or Procedures and ensure compliance.

Provide excellent service to customers, respond promptly and courteously to customer requests.

Responsible for the correct allocation and skill of the employee according to table requirement.

Organize and supervise that the assigned area is equipped for all operational needs, including but not limited to; adequate float, adequate playing cards, and all gaming equipment is always operational and secured.

Manage disputes outside the authority of Pit Supervisor and advise the operations manager of any dispute requiring their attention.

Knowledgeable with Table Manager System, and Card Tracking System. Impart knowledge to your Pit Supervisor with system usage and knowing when to use manual process when applicable.

Maintain Pit Diary for all important information and endorsing all necessary information to incoming Pit Manager.

Maintain an awareness of player strategy and performance.

Remain aware of all forms of fraudulent behavior inside the casino and immediately report to management any doubtful or suspicious activities and behavior.

Interact with Surveillance Department and Operations Manager, advising them immediately of any possible problem areas.

Provide coaching and development to Pit Supervisor, Dealer Inspector and Dealers during the shift.

Ensure discipline is administered in consistent & fair manner to your Pit Supervisor, Dealer Inspector and Dealers.

Conduct performance appraisals in a timely and constructive manner.

Maintain a positive rapport and interaction with other departments.

Understand the parameters and boundaries of position, exercising good judgment, referring situations to the Operations Manager of Table Games.

Ensure that consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Protect and preserve the assets of the company.

Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental or company matters.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum 05 years of experience of Pit Supervisor or 03 years of experience Pit Manager in big-scale casino

Demonstrated experience in table games operations experience in the hospitality/gaming industry.

Previous supervisory/management experience required.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other employees of different backgrounds and levels of experience.

Possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Have good oral and written communications skills.

Tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights

High School Degree, College or University Degree in related field preferred, from an accredited institution, and/ or equivalent work experience.
