Basic Functions:
Responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of multi-property sales teams in order to create synergy between business units (2 hotels, a hostel and a destination with tourist facilities), meet and exceed revenue and other KPI targets, while managing and developing a team of 10-15 members. Maintain and grow current DMC and TA relationships while developing new ones, coordiante partnership programs along with the marketing team, manage and improve the market mix of our hotels and related business. The Cluster DOS will look after overall sales for Novotel Halong Bay, M-Gallery Yen Tu and the Yen Tu sdestination hosting this M-Gallery along with a large sales team under direct supervision and alongside many other teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain growing rapport with tour operators and DMCs, both domestic and international visitor’s oriented, airlines, destination management companies and other key partners.
2. Maintain a close relationship with Hotel Associations, Tourism Boards and any other government and non-governmantal entity key to our business.
3. Lead FAM trips of our cluster of facilities with clients, partners and other entities.
4. Research and keep atop hotel and travel market trends in the domestic Vietnamese market (North, Central and South) as well as tourist arrival statistics to maximise opportunity for visitors into the cluster.
5. Grow and maintain and exhaustive network of existing and potential clients and partners.
6. Determine with the Cluster DOSM best pricing and positioning strategies and best yield market mixes for each property.
7. Assists director of marketing in preparation of market analysis, sales goals and any reports for the owning company and the Accor brand group of head offices.
8. Ensure sales team members are in constant communication, enabled and empowered to achieve and exceed their sales objectives, well trained and motivated.
9. Design and launch sales acitivites, initiatives, programs, etc in conjunction with the sales team.
10. Develop and maintain a systematic sales record-keeping approach so each sales person is organized and accountable for their KPIs, with a clear reporting system to fully capture analitics and identify and pursue opportunities
11. Ensure that company SOPs and property SOPs are in place and adhered to.
12. Submit sales activities reports on a monthly basis outlining:
- Total number of calls with details
- Past month activities
- Account production against budget and goals
- Major business leads for that month and for the future
- Entertainment report
- Top production accounts
- Relevant and actionable competitor information
- Upcoming projects
13. Build good rapport with other hotel departments and ensure the sales team enjoys cooperation and camaraderie from them.
14. Liaise with the corporate sales offices, Accor National and International Sales ofices on business leads and corporate sales programs.

Job Profile and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Hotel, Tourism or related.
2. At least 5 years of experience in directing the sales department of an international hotel chain
3. Knowledge of hotel, property management, and entertainment business
4. Strong inter-personal and leadership skills
5. Proficiency in English communication and computer literacy
6. Strong in driving results and in people management and development
7. Understandings of hotels’ market positioning for leisure, corporate & MICE market segments.
8. Effective sales communication skills and personal performance.
9. Use of problem solving methodologies for decision-making and follow-up to resolution.
10. Familiarity and knowledge of all departments within the hotel .
