• Analyses current and potential market/trends, and coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increase rate.
• Maintain regular contact with the Accor hotel in your region and regional reservation office.
• Assists in the evaluation of Sales & Marketing activities.
• Implement direction from the Director of Sales and Regional Managers.
• Develops a Marketing and Communications program for the hotel based on its marketing goals, and develop the marketing and communications strategies to reach these markets
• Maintains close liaison with Regional/Corporate Marketing teams and those of other Accor hotels to ensure the hotel receives proper corporate consideration, direction, and support.
• Direct day-to-day Marketing activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognize good performance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contracts (for example guests, travel agencies, and local community groups) in order to produce group and/or convention business, including room sales, F&B sales, and catering/banquet services.
• Provide guest information to enhance the guest experience.
• Lead marketing efforts to upsell guests on hotel services, offerings, and amenities.
• Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists.
• Disseminates corporate press releases to appropriate local trade and consumer media.
• Establishes a program or sends promotional news to trade publications on a regular basis releases covering special events, and promotions.

The candidate must have:
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Be creative and innovative
• Well groomed at all times to maintain a professional impression of the hotel
• Excellent guest and client relations
• Be results focused and be able to implement activities to drive revenue
• Be very proficient in Microsoft applications
• Establish a good understanding of TARS, Accor distribution & pricing
• Have excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Extremely pro active with all activities to support the hotel
• Be able to work effectively as part of a dynamic team
