Job Summary:

• The Canteen Chef de Partie will prepare and cook large batches of food that will be served to all Heartist working on Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort.
• Duties/Responsibilities:
• Oversees and directs workers assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
• Coordinate with T&C department to come up with a daily menu for heartist.
• Plan and prepare special menus to serve staff on special days
• Cleans, cuts, prepares, and cooks meat, fish, or poultry to a safe temperature.
• Prepares and cooks various items according to menus, special dietary or nutritional requirements, or numbers of portions to be served.
• Bakes breads, rolls, and pastries.
• Apportions and serves food to Heartist.
• Washes cooking equipment such as pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other pieces.
• Develops, compiles, and maintains food records regarding use and expenditures.
• Inventories supplies and equipment.
• Determines, or assists in determining, meals, menus, and prices.
• Ensures the cleanliness and functional operation of galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas by routinely cleaning and inspecting each piece.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge And Experience

• Graduated from vocational/ college/university in preferably in culinary, hospitality or related field
• Demonstrate ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.
• Ability to read and write English

Competencies

• Vocational Certificate on Culinary Skills or relative field
• At least 01 years’ experience as a chef, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
