Hi, my name is Cuong Cao Nguyen, I am now 42 years of age. I just recently made here from The United States of America. I started being a sushi chef around the age of 19 for a couple of years. Then I fell in love with working with food and wanted to learn more so I started to wander around. Then I became a Hibachi Chef but before I could become that, I was put in the back kitchen as a cook. While I was learning how to cook for a week, I also had to practice my hibachi routine. I've mastered the craft in a month and worked as a hibachi chef for a couple of years. I became more curious about fine dining for years and wanted to learn about ingredients. I had friends who were bakers and chefs who worked in a high end restaurant, so I went to Uchi in Houston, TX. I have fallen in love with it and it was my 1st time discovering truffles. I've worked there for a few months but I had to stop because my father needed someone to take care of him while he was at MD Anderson for his colon cancer. I was done with that and later after that I had to move back to Louisiana to take care of my Grandmother who had stage 4 lung cancer for about 10 years. She passed this year and I no longer have any close family, so I've decided to come to Vietnam. Best decision I've ever made in my life and I Love it here. Now I really want to live here and I need help because I am alone here. I've learned to read and write Vietnamese from my grandmother.

I am currently staying at Tomorrow Hostel. I just recently arrived from America and I plan on becoming a resident here. I am looking for a job either cooking or teaching to kids.
