Good day, My name is Michael Gregor, I am a citizen of Canada and the Netherlands, working abroad as an executive chef. I have completed contracts in Dubai, China, and am currently in Papua new Guinea with an IHG Hotel. I am currently looking to move to HCMC for my next position, in part to be closer to my partner who is working there as an international teacher. I have been professionally cooking for 10+ years now and have managed a variety of companies in retail, restaurants, and hotels. I am passionate about delivering high quality food full of flavour and displayed in beautiful and interesting ways. With my current role, I am in charge of 7 outlets and run a team of ~100 staff with 10 of them being supervisors reporting directly to me. I have already achieved a better quality standard throughout the kitchens, lowered food cost, raised staff morale, and begun training programs to ensure staff are always improving their abilities. I graduated with distinction from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, AB Canada. Earned my Red Seal trade certification in Canada and quickly rose through the ranks to manage kitchens in Canada effectively. Currently I am fluent in English, and have a small amount of Chinese, French and Dutch. I have begun t study to Vietnamese in the hopes of procurring a position in Vietnam.
