As a highly committed and hard-working fresh graduate from ICHM, I would love to bring all the knowledge I learned along with specialized hotel skills to help the company achieve its mission of delivering 5-star international service to customers. Working in an active environment with precious opportunities for career advancement, gaining valuable experiences, expanding my network within the hospitality industry, and becoming a professional staff in the future. Regarding my previous work history, I had experience in Room Division Department as a Housekeeping Attendant at Sofitel Adelaide- South Australia for 6 months. In this position, my duty was to clean the room properly following hotel standards, and ensure the room are ready in the allocated time. I also had a chance to gain teamwork skills when working in pairs as well as support other teams to get the job done on time. Additionally, due to the heavy nature of the work, especially in the peak season, I had been trained to work under high pressure and also know how to manage time well to complete the task assigned productively. Quickly, I became one of the high-performing and trusted employees with a large workload. Besides, I worked as an F&B attendant at both Lenzerheide Restaurant and Bespoke Restaurant - in South Australia. While working at Lenzerheide Restaurant - a local fine dining restaurant, I was familiar with the a la carte style from setting up tables, taking orders, carrying plates as well as serving customers in a professional manner. Simultaneously, at Bespoke Restaurant - part of Adelaide Oval which holds lots of world-tour class concerts and cricket matches, I had a chance to work in a larger-scale professional environment and serve VIP guests. Within 6 months of working there, with a hard-working and willing-to-learn attitude, I was assigned to different roles in the F&B department such as pass leader, waitress, barista, and so on. These experiences allow me to have the ability to work under pressure, effective communication with customers and co-workers, good teamwork, time management, attentiveness to detail, and accuracy. Moreover, with the desire to challenge myself in a new field and expand my knowledge, I believe those transferable skills acquired along with a willing-to-learn attitude will fit with this position.
