Main responsibilities: -Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously -Multi-task and react quickly and effectively to all last-minutes service challenges -Support the Banquet Manager to audit the revenue and cost to ensure the department turns a profit. -Manage and control costs like labor, food , beverage , decoration , entertainment,... and other expenses to maximize profits but still ensure outstanding customer service. -Work as a person in-charge to keep liaison between the staff, kitchen, chef, and event guests to ensure the best service. -Communicate effectively with not only internal but also external event planners and join in BEO meetings and pre-con meetings with clients and related departments to ensure all needs have been met and check for any last-minute instructions or changes. -Communicate timely with kitchen and brief all important information to staff, check all function rooms to ensure they are ready, with all equipment in good quality to ensure the success of all events. -Upsell and suggest the best menu and best bar package for every guest and event. -Supervise all functions in 4 meeting rooms , 2 ballroom where accommodating up to 300 people . And various of venues on the beach with capacity up to 1000 people. -Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding food and berverage service. -Forecast the manning, equipment, and supply requirements based on events report & BEOs , and assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements. -Performe the monthly inventory of all banquet equipment. -Be responsible for the proper usage and good working order of all equipment, furniture, and fixtures in the banquet and catering section in the shift assigned and oversee daily maintenance logs and report the defects to the appropriate departments when needed. -Support and lead all team member to achieve the property and department goals. -Supervise banquet manning, schedule, trainning, organize the room set up, process payroll, evaluate and enforce the service standards.
