Mentioning my experience in the field, I used to spend 9 months as an Event Intern in an advertising media company. One of my main tasks during this internship is to contact and work directly with the Sales department at the event venue (hotel, restaurant, convention center,... ) - Meeting with the event team to determine the features and necessary logistics of the event - Contact hotels, restaurants, and convention centers directly to find a suitable venue - Work and discuss directly with the Sales Executive of the venue before, during and after the event (implementing BEOs; negotiating prices; making service contracts; resolving arising problems; assessing service quality services of the venue; evaluate and compile related invoices and documents to support contract liquidation)
