Results-driven Room Division Manager (RDM) with a proven track record in hotel management. Expertise in front office management, housekeeping, reservations, and guest services. Seeking a challenging opportunity to contribute to the success of a reputable hotel.
- Participate in the development of short-term and long-term financial and operational plans; - Manage the financial performance of the department by creating budgets, monitoring expenses, and generating reports; - Responsible for actively recruiting, hiring and training for all Front office and Housekeeping positions; - Assist General Manager with the execution of marketing, sales, and operational activities; - Ensure good safety practices of employees and guests, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures; - Review reports and financial statements to determine Rooms division performance against budget; - Review Rooms division occupancy & rate, wages and controllable expenses; Review the Wage Progress Report and compares budgeted wages to actual wages, coaching direct reports to address problem areas and holding team accountable for results; - Ensure property policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Understand the government regulations affecting hotel’s operations, ensure hotel is operated in compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and requirements of any federal, state or municipal authority.
