During my training period, I got the opportunity to rotate among different sections within Front Office department to gain as much exposure to the industry as possible. Working as a Telephone Operator, I learnt about telephone etiquette, problem solving and coordinating as well as following up with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. At Front Desk, I gained knowledge about operating systems, daily tasks of a receptionist and had to ensure that the guests feel welcome while handling payments correctly to maintain a smooth check-in and check-out process. Lastly, as a concierge agent, I needed to continuously update on government's regulations regarding Covid restriction to provide precise information to the guests. I also handled other requests such as printing complimentary theme park tickets, booking restaurants, arranging transportation to ensure an enjoyable stay for our in-house guests.
