The position is responsible for:
Development and improvement of the people, product and profit of the Culinary Department with a focus on superior quality and consistency.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist and support the Executive Chef to the highest standards in the daily operation of the Culinary team.
The Executive Sous Chef requires solid leadership qualities, organizational and administrative talent and is fully responsible for their venue operation
Plan, organize, control and direct the work of colleagues
Development and improvement of the people, product and profit of the Culinary Department with a focus on superior quality and consistency.
Develop mainternan the highest standards in the daily operation of the Culinary team
Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customers' requirements as well as the hotel's business purpose
• Create menus and work with sales team to respond to different customer requirements
• Be creative in the design and implementation of ongoing food concepts
Responsible for the hygienic and safe preparation of food within the outlet
• Ensure proper operation and Follow up on all reports from department heads to ensure all standards are strictly enforced
Main Complexity/Critical issues in the Job
• Deal well with guests' requests as well as complex requests of guests, as well as customer complaint situations in each specific situation…
The ability to control and be flexible in adjusting the menu cost to suit each customer's complex requirements

Knowledge and Experience
• Culinary Certificate or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
• Good understanding of Mc system and restaurant software programs.
• Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Competencies
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
• Service oriented with an eye for details
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
• Good presentation and influencing skills
• Good computer skill
